How is feline transmission caused and what are the reasons for it?

Feline transmitted peritonitis, also known as feline infectious peritonitis, is caused by the coronavirus in cats. When cats are frightened, their environment changes, or they suddenly change their food, the coronavirus can mutate, leading to feline infection. The mortality rate of feline infectious peritonitis is very high, and the disease occurs quickly, making it difficult to treat.

Cats infected with feline infectious peritonitis may experience abdominal swelling, vomiting, diarrhea, and may also have difficulty breathing. If you find that some of your cats, especially those raised in a group, have abdominal distension, vomiting, diarrhea, and lack of appetite and energy, you must promptly investigate and treat them for better results.
